Computer Knowledge is essential., Pay Band Scale: Rs 9,000 - 40,500. PB - 4. Grade Pay: 5,400.
- JUNIOR ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER - 2 posts [OBC (Category-A)-1; UR (EC)-1], Qualification: Diploma in Electrical / Bio Technology / Chemical / Civil / Mechanical / Environmental / Instrumentation / Automobile or Public Health Engineering from approved State Council for Technical Education of Government of West Bengal. Computer Knowledge is essential., Pay Band Scale: Rs 9,000 - 40,500. PB - 4. Grade Pay: 4,400.
- ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYST - 2 posts [OBC (Category-B)-1, UR-1], Qualification: A Bachelor degree in Environmental Science / Geology / Biology / Zoology / Botany / Chemistry / Microbiology / Physics / Biochemistry /Biotechnology from a recognized University with minimum two years experience in Laboratory Work. Computer Knowledge is essential., Pay Band Scale: Rs 7,100 - 37,600. PB - 3. Grade Pay: 3,900.
- LABORATORY ASSISTANT - 3 posts [SC-1, OBC (Category-B)-1, UR (EC)-1], Qualification:: Candidates who have passed H.S. (Sc) or equivalent & possessing minimum two years experience in Laboratory work., Pay Band Scale: Rs 5,400 - 25,200. PB- 2. Grade Pay: 2,600.
- LOWER DIVISION ASSISTANT - 5 posts [SC (EC)-1, ST- 1, OBC (Category-A) -1, UR- 2], Qualification: Candidates who have passed Madhyamik Examination or Equivalent. Computer knowledge is essential., Pay Band Scale: Rs 5,400 - 25,200. PB - 2. Grade Pay: 2,600.
- STENOGRAPHER -1 post [UR-1], Qualification: Must have passed Madhyamik Examination or equivalent. Shall possess a speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand and 40 words per minute in typing. Computer knowledge is essential., Pay Band Scale: Rs 7,100 - 37,600. PB - 3. Grade Pay: 3,600.
- TYPIST -1 post [ST-1], Qualification: Must have passed Madhyamik Examination or equivalent. Shall possess a speed of 40 words per minute in typing. Computer knowledge is essential., Pay Band Scale: Rs 5,400 - 25,200. PB - 2. Grade Pay: 2,600.
- SENIOR ACCOUNTS CLERK - 1 post [UR (Person with Disabilities)-1], Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Commerce from recognized University with five years experience in Accounts work. Computer Knowledge is essential., Pay Band Scale: Rs 7,100 - 37,600. PB - 3. Grade Pay: 3,600.

1. The application form and instructions can be downloaded from our website http://www.wbpcb.gov.in/cgi-bin/notice.cgi or can be collected from Paribesh Bhawan & other Regional Offices / Circle Offices.
2. Candidates are required to send Completed Application form along with attested copies of Caste / Disability Certificate (as applicable), documents / certificate.
3. Applications may be sent through “ORDINARY POST” / can be dropped at Paribesh Bhawan in earmarked box and should be addressed to: The Member Secretary, West Bengal Pollution Control Board, Paribesh Bhawan, 10A, Block-LA, Sector-III, Bidhannagar, Kolkata - 700 098 superscribing on the envelope 'Name of the Post applied'. The application should reach on or before the closing date. 15/02/2011 up to 5.00pm. The Board shall not be responsible for any postal delay.
4. Non Refundable Demand Draft / Pay Order in favour of “WEST BENGAL POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD” of Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred) only payable on Kolkata Service Branch for the Unreserved Category should be sent along with the application form.
